Dr. Lane attended Ball State University and went on to graduate from Indiana University School of Dentistry. To deepen his expertise, he completed a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship in Baltimore, Maryland, and continues to advance his skills through specialized training in surgical dentistry and dental implants. Since 2016, he has helped countless patients achieve healthier, more beautiful smiles with expert care and attention to their needs.
At the heart of Dr. Lane’s practice is a commitment to understanding each patient’s unique needs. He takes pride in relieving pain, restoring smiles, and creating positive dental experiences. His goal is to ensure you feel heard, cared for, and confident about your treatment every time you visit.
Dr. Lane also believes in giving back. He has participated in a dental mission trip to Haiti and has worked with Mission of Mercy to provide free care to people in need. Locally, he loves being part of the South Austin community and plans to get even more involved in events that support the area.
As a forward-thinking dentist, Dr. Lane is excited to offer his patients the latest advancements in dental technology. For example, 3D scanning helps avoid messy impressions, and 3D printing and advanced implant techniques allow him to deliver exceptional results while making treatments more accurate and comfortable.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Lane enjoys an active lifestyle, playing sand volleyball, pickleball, and ping pong. He’s also a proud dog dad to Hooch, his loyal companion, and loves exploring Austin’s restaurant scene and spending time with friends.
Dr. Lane feels privileged to serve the South Austin community, which he considers special for its warmth and welcoming spirit. He looks forward to helping you achieve your best smile and ensuring you feel right at home in his care.

Irene French
Dental Insurance Manager
With 30 years of experience in the dental industry and extensive expertise in dental insurance, Irene brings exceptional knowledge, dedication, and a patient-first approach to Lane Dental. Since joining Dr. Lane’s team in February 2024, she has become a trusted resource for patients navigating the often-confusing world of dental insurance.
As our Dental Insurance Manager, Irene oversees insurance verifications, benefit breakdowns, claim submissions, claim follow-ups, insurance payments, and coverage-related questions. Her decades of industry experience allow her to help patients better understand their benefits, make the most of their available coverage, and navigate the financial side of dental care with confidence and peace of mind.
What truly sets Irene apart is her genuine care for the people she helps. She values the relationships she builds with patients and believes that every smile has the power to boost confidence and brighten someone’s day. Whether she’s resolving a complicated insurance claim or answering a simple benefits question, Irene is dedicated to making each patient’s experience as smooth, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.
Outside the office, Irene enjoys gardening and painting. Her creativity and nurturing spirit shine through in everything she does, whether she’s tending to her garden, working on her latest painting, or finding new ways to bring beauty into the world around her.

Lindsey Ratzlaff
Office Manager, Marketing & Patient Relations
Lindsey joined the Lane Dental family in May 2024, bringing over five years of experience in dentistry and a genuine passion for creating exceptional patient experiences. She began her dental career as a dental assistant in 2019 and has grown through multiple roles within the industry, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry.
As Office Manager, Marketing & Patient Relations at Lane Dental, Lindsey combines her passion for patient care, leadership, and creativity to help create an exceptional experience for every patient. She enjoys building efficient systems, strengthening the practice’s online presence, and ensuring every patient feels welcomed, valued, and cared for.
Known for her organization, creativity, and positive attitude, Lindsey enjoys finding new ways to improve both the patient experience and office operations. She believes compassion, communication, and attention to detail are the foundation of exceptional customer service and works hard to make every visit feel welcoming, comfortable, and stress-free.
Outside of the office, Lindsey is a proud mom to her two amazing daughters, who keep life full of laughter and adventure. She enjoys working out, hiking, spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and discovering new places to travel. With a love for creativity and a naturally upbeat personality, Lindsey is always looking for new ways to bring positive energy to those around her—whether that’s helping a nervous patient feel at ease, celebrating a team accomplishment, or making someone smile.

Jordan Budzise
Front Office
Originally from Austin, Jordan has moved around over the years but has happily called Austin home again for the past four years. With family members already working in dentistry, entering the dental field felt like a natural choice for him.
Jordan has been working in dentistry for over a year and previously gained experience in an orthodontic office before joining Lane Dental. He enjoys being one of the first people patients interact with and loves getting to know them beyond just their appointments.
One of Jordan’s favorite parts of his position is helping patients navigate their dental care and making the process feel easier and less overwhelming. He appreciates the close-knit atmosphere at Lane Dental and loves being part of a team where everyone genuinely cares about their work and the people they serve.
Jordan describes himself as fun, humorous, and an “introverted extrovert.” Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, going to the beach, spending time with his dogs, and trying great food. He has a pug named Paris and a French bulldog named Bodhi — and he will happily admit that he loves food!

Kerrie Lindholm
Dental Hygienist
Kerrie brings over 16 years of dental hygiene experience and a genuine passion for helping patients achieve healthier, happier smiles. Having previously worked with Dr. Jonathan Lane, she joined the Lane Dental family in January 2022 and became a full-time team member in July 2023. Kerrie enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and is passionate about educating and encouraging them to achieve lifelong oral health through compassionate, personalized care.
Outside the office, Kerrie stays just as busy at home. She enjoys gardening, spending time with friends, and caring for what her coworkers affectionately call her “mini farm.” Her growing family of animals includes four Australian Shepherds (with Pickle being a fan favorite!), four donkeys, cats, and a flock of chickens—each with its own unique name and story.
If you ever have the chance to chat with Kerrie, be sure to ask her about her animals. She has plenty of unforgettable stories to share—from the time one of her chickens accidentally poked her in the eye to the rescue mission involving a chicken, a sticky trap, and a very determined Kerrie. Don’t worry—the animals all made it out just fine… Kerrie, on the other hand, may have taken the bigger hit! Those stories are definitely best told by her.

Layne Parker
Dental Hygienist
Layne’s journey in dentistry began while she was still in high school, where she first gained experience working in a dental office. After beginning hygiene school in 1984, she knew she had found a career that allowed her to combine excellent patient care with something she values deeply — building meaningful relationships with people.
Layne has been with the office since January 1999 and has been part of Dr. Lane’s team since 2021. With decades of experience in dental hygiene, she brings a calm, caring, and thoughtful approach to every appointment. She believes that truly listening to patients, understanding their individual needs, and helping them feel comfortable are some of the most important parts of providing exceptional dental care.
One of the things Layne enjoys most about being a hygienist is getting to know her patients over the years. She loves seeing familiar faces, catching up on their lives, and creating the kind of trust and connection that makes a dental visit feel much more personal.
Outside of the office, Layne enjoys spending time with her husband, her two daughters, and her dogs, Mavis and Tillie. She loves reading, hiking, swimming, spending time around the water, and is also known for her fun collection of unique phone cases!

Margaret Trejo
Dental Hygienist
With more than 40 years of experience in dentistry, Margaret brings an incredible amount of knowledge, compassion, and heart to the Lane Dental team. She has been part of Dr. Lane’s team from the very beginning and has built lasting relationships with so many of our patients over the years.
Margaret believes that making patients feel comfortable and cared for is just as important as providing excellent clinical care. She loves helping people feel confident in their smiles and enjoys getting to know each patient beyond just their dental needs. Her warm personality and genuine compassion help create a relaxed, welcoming experience in the hygiene chair.
Outside of the office, Margaret enjoys playing the violin, staying active with pickleball, and spending time with her grandkids. She is also well known for her delicious enchiladas — a favorite among those lucky enough to try them! Although she doesn’t have pets of her own, she has a big soft spot for dogs.

Zulema E. Jimenez
Dental Assistant
Since starting at the office in February of 2007, she’s been part of Dr. Lane’s team since he took over in 2021. Zulema has brought over 20 years of experience and a genuine passion for helping patients feel at ease during their visits. As a dental assistant, she plays an essential role in supporting patients throughout their care, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident. With her attention to detail and focus on providing a caring experience, Zulema makes every visit a positive one.
Outside of work, Zulema stays active with biking, hiking, and fishing. When she’s not outdoors, you’ll likely find her playing bingo or planning her next travel adventure. Although she doesn’t have pets, she adores her three grand dogs—Gunner, Koda, and Kaya—who bring extra joy to her life!
Dolores Elizalde
Dental Assistant
Dolores has been in the dental field since 2019 and joined the Lane Dental family in September 2025. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and helping patients feel comfortable from the moment they sit in the dental chair.
As a dental assistant, Dolores is known for her gentle approach, attention to detail, and positive attitude. She is always ready to lend a helping hand and is a true team player who enjoys supporting both her coworkers and patients to ensure every visit is a great experience.
Outside of the office, Dolores enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and loves taking vacations whenever she gets the chance. She’s also a proud dog mom to Herman and her lovable Great Dane, who keep life fun and full of adventure.

Jazmine Carroll
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Originally from California, Jazmine has lived in Texas for 11 years and has called Austin home for the past six. She entered dentistry after attending dental assisting trade school, inspired by the opportunity to help people improve their smiles, build confidence, and feel better about themselves.
Jazmine has been in dentistry for approximately a year and a half. Her previous experience includes working as a sterilization technician and as a dental assistant in endodontics.
What she enjoys most about dental assisting is being able to help patients get out of pain while improving both their oral health and their confidence. She especially values getting to know patients personally and making sure they feel genuinely cared for throughout their visit.
Jazmine describes herself as kind, funny, and caring. Outside of the office, she enjoys going out to eat, visiting the spa, going to the movies, shopping, traveling, and spending time at church. She is also a mom to a 16-year-old and has a toy Australian Shepherd.
Jazmine is excited to continue growing within dentistry and wants to learn as much as possible throughout her career.
